Definitions and Terms

C.O.D We do not accept COD (cash on delivery) shipments.

We do not ship retail products out by COD (cash on delivery).

We do lay-a-way for our customers as follows:

1. Monthly $5.00 fee (whether 1 day or 31 days, a flat fee) for lay-a- way; to cover postage & statements costs.

Fee increase every January 1st by $1.00 USA, as of 2011.

Payments are due on the first of each month. Due means: are received by us by the first.

Plan 7-10 days mailing time prior to due date on the first.

2 At interest rate of 0.004 on balance due us, calculated/figured daily.

We ship products when balance is paid off; at the current shipping/postal rate.

3. There is No Cancellation of any lay-a-way agreements on monogrammed or customized items.

4. Shipping on lay-a-way plans: Shipping fee on your order will be updated>increased/decreased. Shipping is assessed at the time of pay off,

billed to your account at current shipping/postal rate.

Non-payment: means you canceled your lay-a-way agreement. Releasing back to us the products sold to you on lay-a-way payment, & releasing

to us all monies and fees paid.

Late payment: a $2.00 fee will be added to your account balance monthly for each late payment.

Late fee will increase every January 1st by $1.00 USA, as of 2011.

Over Due: Accounts with payments more then 30 days over due, will be considered to be in non-payment status, meaning you canceled your

lay-a-way agreement; releasing back to us the products sold to you on time & all monies and fees paid. In cases of monogrammed or

custom orders you are still liable for payment of labor, materials, applicable shipping & taxes used to date of order cancellation.

Cancellation of orders.

Non-refundable Items:

*Payment collector fees from: Pay Pal, Amazon, E bay or other such company’comanpies fees

*You are still subject to paying for LABOR on all orders: from start date to date of refund or cancellation.

*Saddle trees: You are still subject to paying for at our full cost of saddle tree, including tax & shipping of the saddle tree to us.

Plus shipping to you.

*Materials used, sales tax assessed on raw materials, & applicable shipping up to date of cancellation or refund request.

*Custom Items: all payments are non-refundable. We will remake your order, with the exchange of the new/non-worn unacceptable custom

item.

*Custom Items: any items with monogramming; this includes business or personal logos, photo embossing, numbers, initials, wording or

names. With custom items you are still subject to paying for materials, labor, taxes, & applicable fees, wither you purchased these items

in store, my mail, or on Lay-a-way plan.

There is No Cancellation of any lay-a-way agreements on monogrammed or customized items.

You will still be subject to payment of full balance due us, collection costs, & all court costs, incurred with the collection of your

account/order process.

*Doing a lay-a-way account or doing business with us means you agree with all of the above terms and those applicable due us by law.

*It also means you will take responsibility to check all leather products before use: for damage or over worn unsafe conditions and have it

replaced with new parts before you use saddle (especially straps going over the tree bars & rigging straps, cinches, all straps going over

buckles, straps until leather layers, etc.), tack – buckles, strap holes, reins, harness – all straps & buckles, or the same with all belts, riggings

& collars, or any other leather goods from us. All leather crossing over or under something; including buckle, ring, loop areas.

We are NOT RESPONSIBLE for repairs made by others ON OUR LEATHER PRODUCTS!

ORDER PROCESSING: We complete orders, in the order they are received. Customized work requires a lot of time. We will endeavor

to complete your order as fast as we can.

GUARRANTEES: Superior Saddle Tree Co.: Bull-hide covered trees – 5 year structure guarantee.

Ultra-hide covered trees – 10 year structure guarantee.

Guarantee does not cover, being pulled in half, a horse falling on them, a vehicle driving on over them, abuse of equipment, neglect of equipment, etc. Guaranteed only under normal wear and use. Other companies tree warranties prorated on their terms.

YOU’RE LEATHER GOODS, TACK & SADDLES AND YOUR RESPONSIBLITY

* With normal wear and use it is expected of you to not over expose your saddle or leather products to moisture, sun, weather, chemicals, manure, neglect or abuse.

* You are expected to clean off manure, sweat, chemicals & other foreign material as soon as possible to save the life of your saddle or

leather products.

* You are expected to clean your equipment or leather products with a damp cloth & saddle soap or leather cleaner, dry properly before

use when exposed to weather, chemicals, manure, sweat, and other foreign materials.

*It is expected of you and is you’re responsible to condition or re-condition your leather products 1 to 4 times a year without soaking your

products. Including after cleaning. Not to saturate your leather with oils. Over saturation is just as dangerous as over dry. Leather is skin.

Apply moisturizer with sense.

*Your responsibility NOT TO USE any leather products which are dry, cracked, torn, split, starting to split, worn thin, quick slap together fix,

missing parts or in any other unsafe condition. Including the equipment of other friends and family members whom are with you or using you

tack, straps, belts, or leather products.

* DO NOT punch holes in leather with knives, nails or other; these will split & run leather at the worst of times. Use leather punches only! A

small split doesn't’ take long to run or break if something stupid or unexpected happens. Extra stress equals quick failure.

*Before Every Use CHECK! With Proper care, and prevention leather goods can last a life time. We have a set of my grandmothers harness and

we been able to keep that harness sound for 55 years.

It is YOUR responsibility: to provide leather care, cleaning & maintenance; check for wear, thinning, damage, cracking of your leather

goods, tack, saddles, to replace damaged parts immediately and properly before use; EVERY TIME!

RETURN POLICY

* No returns after 30 days. Return craft supplies, or bits with in 15 days unused. Items must show no wear, must be accompanied by receipt.

* Non-returnable items.

Orders which require custom building of your product, we can only guarantee an approximate completion date.

Keep in mind it takes 20 or more hours to build a check book,

purse that or longer,

belt - 40 hrs to 50+ hrs.,

Simple saddles - 2weeks for special order trees

- 40 hrs minimum to build if there are no order ahead of you.

Heavily carved saddles - add a minium of 40 hrs more

Silver saddles add additional time. ETC. With saddles we won't be able to meet

Christmas or Birthday dates unless we already have what you want completed.
